Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection for Advertising

To keep Chibi Color free, we partner with Google AdMob to display in-app advertisements (interstitial and rewarded ads). When you launch the app for the first time, you will see an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt asking for permission to show personalized ads.

• If you grant permission, AdMob may use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized ads and measure ad performance across apps.
• If you decline, AdMob will still show ads, but they will be non-personalized. Your IDFA will not be used for cross-app tracking.
• Regardless of your ATT choice, AdMob uses your device's Vendor Identifier (IDFV) for frequency capping and fraud prevention. This identifier is not used for cross-app tracking.
• AdMob may also collect coarse location (derived from your IP address, not GPS), app usage data, and ad interaction data. All ads are filtered to PG-rated content.

You can manage or revoke your ATT permission at any time in your iOS device Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

2. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used — for example, which features are popular or where the app can be improved.

Our analytics are configured to be cookieless and identifier-free:

• All consent signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to Denied. Firebase sends aggregate event pings with no device or user identifiers attached.
• Firebase Analytics does not use your IDFA or IDFV. We cannot identify your device across sessions through analytics.
• We never send names, email addresses, search text, or any personal identifier as an analytics parameter.
• Analytics data is used solely to improve the app — never to profile users or target advertising.

The data categories collected by Firebase Analytics under these settings are:

• Product interaction — which features and categories are used (no personal content).
• Coarse location — a general country/region derived from a masked IP address (not GPS).
• Purchase history — App Store product ID and price (not your payment details).
• Performance data — device tier and app startup/render timing (no personal content).

None of this data is linked to your identity and none of it is used for tracking. We do not use a crash reporting SDK (such as Crashlytics).

3. Local Storage and iCloud Backups

Your artwork, coloring progress, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your drawings. If you enable iCloud Backup in the app, your data is securely synced to your personal Apple CloudKit account. We cannot view, access, or read your iCloud backups. Deleting the app removes local data, and you can manage your iCloud backups directly through your Apple ID settings.

4. In-App Purchases

Chibi Color offers optional Premium content via in-app purchases. All transactions are processed securely and entirely by Apple. We do not collect, process, or have any access to your credit card information, billing address, or financial details. We do log anonymized purchase event data (product identifier, currency, and amount) to Firebase Analytics for performance tracking — this is entirely separate from your payment information.

5. Customer Support

If you contact us for support or feedback via email, we will only see the email address you use to send the message. We use this address exclusively to reply to your inquiry. We will never sell your email or add it to a marketing list.

6. Children's Privacy

Chibi Color is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
