Privacy Policy

1. Who this app is for

Toddler Paint & Color is a coloring and drawing app designed for young children, used together with a parent or caregiver. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

2. What we do NOT collect

To keep the app completely safe, it works without needing to know who you are. We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or physical addresses of children or parents.
• Precise geographic location (GPS data).
• Device identifiers used for targeted or behavioral advertising.
• Contacts, microphone, or camera data for external tracking.
• Any information that could identify your child personally.

3. Drawings, progress, and local storage

Everything your child creates stays on your device.

• Drawings and progress are stored locally on the device only. We cannot see or access them.
• Optional iCloud Backup: If you enable backup in Settings, a private copy of drawings and settings is stored in your own Apple iCloud account (via Apple CloudKit). We have no access to that backup.
• Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud backups can be managed from your Apple ID settings.

4. Multiple child profiles

The app supports multiple child profiles so each child can have their own drawing space. Profiles contain only a chosen color and avatar — no name, age, or any identifying information is required or stored.

5. The Parental Gate

To prevent children from accidentally leaving the app or accessing adult content, a Parental Gate (a simple math question) protects:

• Settings & feedback: accessing app settings or contacting support.
• Purchases: viewing or buying a Premium subscription.
• Sharing & export: saving a drawing to the iOS Photos app or sharing it.

6. Advertising

Toddler Paint & Color displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Because this app is used by children, we have configured AdMob with child-directed treatment enabled. This means:

• Ads are non-personalized and filtered to G-rated content only.
• No App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt is shown — we do not request permission to track your child.
• AdMob does not use the device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for personalization.

7. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used — for example, which features are popular or where the app can be improved.

Our analytics are configured to be cookieless and identifier-free:

• All consent signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are set to Denied. Firebase sends aggregate event pings with no device or user identifiers attached.
• IDFV collection is disabled. We cannot identify your device or child across sessions.
• We never send names, email addresses, search text, or any personal identifier as an analytics parameter.
• Analytics data is used solely to improve the app — never to profile children or target advertising.

The data categories collected by Firebase Analytics under these settings are:

• Product interaction — which features and categories are used (no personal content).
• Coarse location — a general country/region derived from a masked IP address (not GPS).
• Purchase history — App Store product ID and price (not your payment details).

None of this data is linked to your identity and none of it is used for tracking.

8. In-app purchases

Toddler Paint & Color offers a VIP / Premium subscription with additional content.

• All transactions are processed entirely by Apple via your Apple ID.
• We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card number, billing address, or financial details.
• All purchase screens are locked behind the Parental Gate to prevent unauthorized purchases by children.

9. Parent support and feedback

Behind the Parental Gate in Settings, there is a feedback button that opens a pre-composed email draft in your device's Apple Mail app.

• If you choose to send us an email, we will only see the email address you use.
• We use it solely to respond to your question or feedback.
• We will never add it to a marketing list, sell it, or share it with third parties.

10. Third-party services summary

• AdMob (Google): Displaying ads — non-personalized, child-directed, no tracking.
• Firebase Analytics (Google): Product analytics — no personalization, no tracking.
• CloudKit (Apple): Optional iCloud backup — no personalization, no tracking.
• StoreKit (Apple): In-app purchases — no personalization, no tracking.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage parents to review this policy periodically.
